Fae Powers
Unique Supernatural Ability: Entangling Roots. (New) The Fae is able to summon roots that ensnare the Fae's opponents. This can also be used outside of combat to create a barrier in a Fae's home or territory.
Base Supernatural Abilities: deceiving nature (choose one ability that detects or grant information about you, you have protection against it and can also give false information to the person who that used it)
Supernatural Weaknesses: Symbols of faith and anti-faith, angelic and demonic sigils, iron
Fae Character Customization choices
This system is optional, but in place for those who want some direction in creating their characters.
Step One: Choose no more than two unclassified powers. These will be in your starter build and a part of your character's specialization.
Step Two: Choose no more than two powers from Tier One. These will be in your starter build and a part of your character's specialization.
Step Three: Choose no more than two powers from Tier Two. These will be in your starter build and a part of your character's specialization
Step Four: Choose no more than two powers from Tier Three. These will be in your starter build and a part of your character's specialization
Step Four: Choose no more than two powers from Tier Four. These will be in your starter build and a part of your character's specialization
Step Five: Choose no more than two powers from the General list. These will be in your starter build and a part of your character's specialization
Step Six: If you desire, you may select two abilities from the Human list because Otherkin are considered to have the same capabilities as humans.
You are limited to no more than 8 powers for your starter build. Choose them carefully. They will be the powers your character is most adept at and what comes most intuitively to them.
Unclassified List
Faery Ward: Trap anyone who steps into a prepared ring.
Delicacy: Food prepared by the fae can trap victims in a trance.
Traveler Fairy: Travel to the Faerie realm and bring someone.
Dusty Form: Transform into faerie dust and become invulnerable.
Tangible Illusion: Create a completely believable illusion.
Slumber: Put a target into nightmare sleep.
Uncontrollable Laughter: Cause crippling laughter.
Childless: Curse someone to be barren.
Faery Size: Shrink into a tiny version of yourself.
Flash Freeze: Blind and stun enemies.
Faery Weaponry: Create magical projectiles.
Commune with Nature: Sense and nurture the land.
Trickster Chant: Speak riddles that cause pain until solved.
Summon: Summon creatures.
Child Swap: Replace human children with changelings.
Invisibility: Become unseen.
Fairy Dust: Temporarily grant an ability to someone else.
Antigravity: Hover or move lightly.
Mask of the Beasts: Grow animal traits.
Control Elements: Control one element in sight.
Earn these with the task system
Tier One:
Glamour: Alter your appearance or surroundings with illusion — beauty or terror as you please. Charm Tongue: Influence others mildly through voice and presence. Works best on the willing. Nature's Veil: Blend seamlessly with natural environments — forest, water, mist. Tricklight: Create floating orbs of color to distract or lead others astray. Wild Tongue: Speak and command simple animals or natural forces briefly.
Tier Two
Minor Blessing: Impart small fortune or misfortune to someone. Always balanced — blessing carries a side-effect. Memory Drift: Blur a target’s memory of recent events or alter tiny details. Fair Bargain: Bind agreements through intent and truth. Breaking one has spiritual consequences. Dreamstep: Enter or walk within another’s dream. Can manipulate images, rarely meaning. Foxfire: Ignite a non-burning light or spectral flame used for misdirection or subtle power.
Tier Three:
Echo Trick: Replay sounds and voices you have heard, replicating them accurately to confuse or guide. Gossamer Form: Become weightless, pass through delicate barriers like mist or cobwebs. Season's Touch: Temporarily infuse an area with the essence of a season — frost, bloom, drought, or decay. Time Twist: Experience a few seconds twice — once to see the outcome, once to act differently. Geas: Impose a binding command that must be obeyed. Violation brings misfortune, not death.
Tier Four
Fate Threading: See faint threads connecting people’s destinies. Can tug slightly, but not break them. Mirror Walking: Step through mirrors or reflective surfaces as portals between nearby locations. Elderglam: Induce awe or terror through your full fae nature, overwhelming the mortal mind.. Court Summons: Call upon aid from the Seelie or Unseelie courts — or be forced to answer one.. Twilight Realm: Create a small pocket world where time and truth bend according to Fae law.
